Long-Term-Facility is seeking a Housekeeping Director to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and implement policies across the facility. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in housekeeping management, with at least 2 years in a senior or director role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Experience with housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and cleaning best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

  • Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate ordering and procurement.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and resource efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest or patient satisfaction.
  • Handle staffing needs including hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and policies.
  • Address and resolve guest or resident complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.

General Statement of Responsibilities:
