Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $20.50 to $22.80+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
  • Benefits: This position is eligible to enroll in company subsidized medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, HSA, life/disability options; season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Job Summary

The Housekeeping Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping and Condo Maintenance department, oversees the quality of cleaning. Ensures resort standards are met from independent contractors for cleanliness of rental condos and houses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor quality and ensure independent contractors are meeting the terms of their agreement with Copper Mountain and report any discrepancies back to the contracted company on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate with contract management to ensure contract compliance and to coordinate the contractor’s work with the company’s needs. Conduct ongoing cleanliness assessments, planning and evaluations in areas that need improvement within the contract.
  • Responsible for distributing reports and designating project scope for contractors
  • Assist guests and owners with special requests
  • Establish positive relationships with guests and owners
  • Maintain a positive relationship with Rental Owner Services and be proactive in reporting unit damage, loss, etc.

Basic Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Must have a valid US Driver’s license.
  • This position may require the use of a motor vehicle and the employee is subject to comply with the Driver’s Standards of Copper Mountain.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • This position may require the use of a mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication
Preferred Experience and Special Skills
  • Previous Housekeeping, Front Office, Lodging Management experience is essential plus previous resort experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.
  • High level of attention to detail required.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
