Job summary

Patton Building Services, Inc. in Charleston, WV is seeking a dependable part-time Housekeeping/Cleaner to keep client facilities safe and welcoming. You’ll clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms and common areas, with evening hours from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, at sites across our Charleston team.

No advanced degrees required beyond a high school diploma, and training is provided. You’ll join a team focused on care, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures.
• Prior janitorial experience preferred; training provided.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Housekeeping/Cleaner to join our Charleston team. This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Maintain restrooms and common areas
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
• Prior janitorial experience preferred - but we will train the right person

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screen
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking
• Hourly Pay: $12.00
• Schedule : Monday through Thursday 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
