Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas daily. You will follow infection control procedures, store chemicals safely, and assist with additional tasks while supporting a tidy, welcoming environment for residents.

The role offers on-the-job training, continuing education, and a flexible schedule within a full-time daytime shift, with rotating weekends to ensure operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• English reading, speaking and understanding required.
• High school diploma or currently enrolled.
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare or large facilities preferred.
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs independently.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; good vision and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily per facility standards.
• Maintain rooms in a neat, orderly condition based on resident preferences.
• Clean assigned common areas (e.g., offices, dining areas, hallways, activity spaces).
• Follow infection control procedures at all times.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals when not in use.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Follow direction from housekeeping supervisor on daily assignments.
• Support overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for:
