Job summary

Aviva Senior Living in New Hampshire seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to support our senior living communities. You will maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents by performing deep cleans of apartments, halls, and common areas, and by adhering to safety procedures.

The role emphasizes kindness toward older adults, reliable attendance, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment. We offer full-time benefits including health insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of prior housekeeping experience.
• Ability to work with older adults in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Ability to communicate sufficiently in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies and equipment in compliance with facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean resident apartments prior to move in, including living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Complete weekly cleaning of occupied resident apartments on a scheduled rotation.
• Keep all common areas neat, clean, and safe in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Remove trash from common areas throughout the community.
• Vacuum carpets and clean doors and furnishings as needed.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment and handle cleaning solutions safely and properly.
• Lift and move items up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
