Job summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is seeking a hospitality-focused Housekeeper to join our team. This full-time role provides cleaning services to residential homes within our senior living community, delivering a high level of care and consistent, quality results.

You will work under our supportive management, participate in a 2-week training program, and have opportunities for career growth and advancement in a vibrant, resort-style environment. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, squat for long periods and stand/walk up to 70% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance and push/pull on a cart.
• Must be age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning services to residential homes daily.
• Performs scheduled annual deep clean.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items.
• Cleans bathrooms, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and related fixtures.
• Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions.
• Straightens and rearranges furniture, waters plants, empties and washes wastebaskets.
• Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.
• Removes soiled laundry and returns clean laundry to residences in an organized manner.

Schedules: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm and occasional weekends.

Pay: Starting at $15/hour, based on experience

Position Summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused cleaning enthusiast to join our team! This position is responsible for cleaning services to residential homes. Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve. Primary Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning services to residential homes daily.
• Performs scheduled annual deep clean.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items. High and low dusting, sweeps, dry and wet mops, vacuums carpets and rugs.
• Cleans all bathrooms, scours, and polishes tubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.
• Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions.
• Straightens and rearranges furniture, water plants, empties and washes wastebaskets.
• Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.
• Removes soiled laundry and returns clean laundry to residences in an organized manner.
