Job summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is hiring a hospitality-focused Housekeeper to join our team as a full-time role in Charlotte, NC. The position covers cleaning services to residential homes within a resort-style Life Plan Community.

Two primary schedules exist: Independent Living Housekeeper (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with occasional weekends) and Health Center Housekeeper (4 weekdays and every other weekend, 8:00 am–4:30 pm). Competitive benefits and daily work supports are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift and stand/walk up to 70% of the workday.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push/pull on a cart.
• Must be age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning services to residential homes daily.
• Performs scheduled annual deep clean.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, walls, windows, woodwork, and specified items; high and low dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Cleans all bathrooms, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.
• Cleans and polishes glass panels, doors, and partitions.
• Straightens and rearranges furniture, waters plants, empties and washes wastebaskets.
• Cleans building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.
• Removes soiled laundry and returns clean laundry to residences in an organized manner.

Position Summary:

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused cleaning enthusiast to join our team! This position is responsible for cleaning services to residential homes. Our staff performs a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties that exceed industry guidelines and leave a lasting impression on everyone they serve.
