Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is currently seeking a Full/Part-Time Housekeeping Assistant. The position will work varied days and hours based on facility needs, with shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday.

It may include Laundry duties and requires teamwork to support resident care. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all areas, sweeping, mopping, trash removal and keeping supplies organized.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in a nursing home setting.
• Must be able to move (sit, stand, bend) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic housekeeping support procedures for residents as required.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas on a regular basis
• Sweeping and mopping
• Trash removal
• Following daily cleaning schedule as required
• Maintaining and organizing cleaning supplies
