Job summary

Miller's Health Systems is seeking a Part-time Housekeeping Assistant for the Evening Shift (2 PM - 6:30 PM), 8-12 hours per week, at $15.00 per hour. You will help maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and common areas, ensuring safety and comfort for patients and visitors.

You will follow scheduling and safety guidelines while supporting a collaborative team. The role requires attention to detail, a professional appearance, and a positive, friendly demeanor to deliver

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
• Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building.
• Contribute to patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction.
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations and company policies on safety and infection control.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Miller’s, you are responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building. You play a key role in patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction. You adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards. You respond positively to a variety of requests from your supervisor, patients, their families and staff, and you interact with each positively. You are able to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
