Job summary

Ecumen Lakeshore in Duluth, MN is seeking a Casual Housekeeping Assistant to perform cleaning tasks and maintain safe, sanitary spaces for residents. About 4 shifts per month, with 2 weekend shifts; hourly pay targeted at $17.66 to $20.45.

The role supports resident comfort and building upkeep in a compassionate, team-based environment. This non-profit campus has a 93-year history of providing senior housing and care, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to residents'

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precautions, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with community policies and department standards.
• Sweeps, vacuums, dusts, washes, waxes, scours and sanitizes areas; moving furniture and equipment to clean behind or under as necessary.
• Maintains all assigned areas in a safe manner. Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor or member of the leadership team.
• Follows all regulatory compliance standards.
• Maintains equipment and supply levels as needed. Reports supply/equipment needs to supervisor.
• Assists with any resident need, as applicable.

The targeted pay range for this job is $17.66 to $20.45 per hour.

Housekeeping Assistant Minimum Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience.
