Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Braintree Mews Care Home in Braintree. You will work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry to hotel service standards, following our standard operating procedures and ensuring areas are well presented.

The role requires knowledge of health and safety, Fire Safety, Moving and Handling techniques and COSHH assessments, plus experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained. Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.

Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

ABOUT YOU
