Job summary

Aria Healthcare in Waukesha is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents and staff. The role supports daily operations and contributes to a warm, compassionate facility.

Hours are 7am–3pm, full time, with every other weekend required. Pay is $12–$14 hourly, and duties include cleaning floors, laundering linens, operating washer/dryer, and supporting team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping tasks in a care facility.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Willingness to work 7am-3pm and every other weekend.
• Capable of maintaining clean and sanitary environment per policy.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
• Operate a washer and dryer and sort, wash, and fold laundry.
• Attend all facility and department in-service training.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety program.
• Work with other staff to provide a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Fulfill all other duties by department head or facility Administrator.

Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Position

Pay Range: $12-$14 hourly

Position Status: Full Time

Hours Available: 7am-3pm (Every other weekend required)

Job location: 1451 Cleveland Ave Waukesha WI

The duties of the Housekeeping and Laundry Aide include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; pick up outside refuse.
• Dress in appropriate uniform and be at appointed workstation promptly when the shift starts and work consistently until the shift ends.
• Operate a washer & dryer
• Sort, wash, and fold laundry
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.
• Attend all facility and department in-service training.
• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
• Maintain a safe working environment and always adhere to facility safety program.
