Job summary

Qualifications

• Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare setting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Dispose of trash and handle linens appropriately.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinate daily laundry with other departments and inform supervisor of supply needs.
• Attend and participate in training, education activities and staff meetings.
• Collect, launder and distribute linens, garments, etc., per procedures.
• Properly maintain all equipment.
• Ensure work areas are clean and safe, and infection control policies followed.
• Health and safety hazardous materials handling per guidelines.
