Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell is hiring a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role offers full-time or part-time shifts with a flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.50 to $19.16, depending on experience.

Located at 3 Summit Court, Hopewell Junction, NY, this position is part of an established group focused on resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; 6 months housekeeping or laundry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and ancillary departments to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean windows, doors, mirrors, vents, garbage cans, and other facility surfaces as needed.
• Vacuum hallways, mop floors, and perform routine housekeeping tasks as directed.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Empty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend required meetings and trainings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
