Sayville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a dependable Housekeeping Aide to join our environmental services team at Luxor at Sayville facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, disposing of waste according to procedures, and assisting with laundry. A detail-oriented, compassionate, and team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and facility spaces.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and linens.
• Properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials in accordance with facility procedures.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and facility needs.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
