Job summary

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated environmental services associate to join our hospital team. You will perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of hygiene across patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, offices, and clinical areas.

Adherence to healthcare cleaning and waste handling procedures is essential to support infection prevention and patient safety. This role is on-site and aligned with hospital operations in Georgia.

• Follow healthcare cleaning and waste handling procedures to prevent infection.

Job description

To perform daily cleaning, and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, offices, clinical area, waiting areas, elevators, stairwells, etc. Follow healthcare cleaning and handling waste as required, ensuring professional and appropriate service standards while performing the job. Responsible for ensuring timely room cleans. Adjust daily work flow or area assignment to meet organization/hospital discharge flow needs. In accordance with standards of quality is an essential contributor to hospital disinfection and infection prevention.
