Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and hallways.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining rooms, kitchenettes, and staff areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility.
• Change bed linens and make beds for residents as needed.
• Dispose of trash and waste in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
• Follow all infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and distributing linens.
• Ensure that all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
