Job summary

Avalon Rehab & Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff at Avalon.

Schedule: 6AM-2PM, 3 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday. We offer full-time, competitive pay, and benefits including health, dental, and vision, plus PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, or healthcare cleaning experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Ensure all areas meet facility cleanliness standards.
