Job summary

Summersville Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to perform environmental services across patient rooms, exam areas, and public spaces, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires ability to follow cleaning procedures, work with a team, and read written work assignments; shift is varied with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure areas are clean and in good repair; report problems.
• Clean patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, and offices.
• Remove trash and replenish towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Make beds and ensure cleanliness during patient discharge.
• Maintain equipment in clean, working condition and report issues.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations; use PPE as required.

Maintains assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor. 7. Moves equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned. 8.
