Job summary

Christian Park Village in Michigan is seeking a Housekeeper/Aide to provide cleaning services that create a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

You will perform daily room and common area cleaning, follow facility procedures, and assist with laundry as needed, with competitive pay and benefits offered by CienaHealthcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.
• Must follow facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Disposes of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Posts signs to indicate safety hazards at any time housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors or others in the facility.
• Comply with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances. Refers to labels and Material Safety Data Sheets for instructions.
• Cross train in Laundry and assist as needed
