Job summary

Allendale Senior Living is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide. The role includes cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, while maintaining safety and infection control practices.

Daily Pay is offered with an hourly range of $15.92–$17.50 all inclusive. The position supports residents' comfort and facility cleanliness, with responsibilities ranging from cleaning walls and windows to stocking supplies and reporting safety concerns.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
• Clean rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, and offices as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized utility and storage rooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies.
• Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Stock housekeeping carts; store chemicals securely.
• Follow safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling chemicals.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs.

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.

• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.

• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.

• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.

• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and window sills.

• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.

• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.

• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aide:

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
