Job summary

Lillian Carter Health Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. The role involves routine and deep cleaning of rooms and common areas, managing supplies, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality, and knowledge of cleaning tools and procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
• Duties as assigned
