River Valley Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will clean public and resident areas, sanitize rooms, and ensure all spaces meet facility standards.
The role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a healthcare setting. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus, and safety protocols must be followed at all times.
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position ensures that all areas of the facility are free of obstacles, odors, and debris, contributing to the overall health and comfort of those in our care.
This position has no supervisory requirements.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
Repetitive motion tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Use of cleaning equipment and supplies throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to needs.
