Trellis Centennial is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff and visitors in our healthcare facility. You will clean public areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and common touchpoints, ensuring sanitation and tidiness.

The role requires following safety guidelines, using cleaning equipment properly, and coordinating with leadership. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare/long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards.
