Job summary

Hallandale Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping employee to maintain clean, safe, and organized areas within our facility. This role supports daily cleaning operations and adheres to strict sanitation standards to ensure a professional environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include sanitizing spaces, maintaining restrooms and common areas, operating cleaning equipment safely, and collaborating with a team to meet high cleanliness expectations in a fast-paced healthcare

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Housekeeping employee is responsible for maintaining assigned areas clean, safe, and organized while following company sanitation and safety standards. This role supports daily cleaning operations and ensures a clean and professional environment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas according to established schedules and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces.
• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.
• Ensure cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment are organized and stored properly.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and operational needs.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment.
• Perform additional cleaning, sanitation, organization, and support duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, long-term care, or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
