Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition with thorough cleaning.
• Disinfects infectious rooms.
• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment such as shop vacuums and carpet shampooers.
• Dispose of trash, biohazardous waste, and other disposable materials.
• Empties soiled linen cart and cleans windows, dusts, vacuums, and mops.
• Cleans sinks, mirrors, commodes, showers, and walls within the facility.
• Reports needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Acts as a supportive team member within Environmental Services (EVS).
• Participates in interdepartmental process improvements and evaluations.
• Operates a computer to take online training, read emails, and use the work order system.
• Interacts with other departments to solve problems and work as a team.
• Maintains professional and caring conduct and adheres to MRH policies and procedures.

• Maintainsthefacility in a sanitary and infection-free condition with thorough washing and cleaning.
• Disinfection of infectious rooms.
• Usessafety precautions in all areas.
• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment i.e.,shop vacuum and carpet shampooer.
• Responsible for disposal of trash, biohazardous waste, and other disposable materials.
• Empties soiled linen cart.
• Washes windows,dusts, vacuums, and mops.
• Cleans sinks, mirrors, commodes, showers, and walls within the facility.
• Checksall vacant rooms daily.
• Reports anyneeded repairsto themanager.
• Acts as a positive and supportive team member to the Environmental Services(EVS)Department.
• Participates in interdepartmental process improvements andprocessevaluation efforts.
• Ability tooperateacomputer to takeonlinetraining, read emails, and usethework order system.
• Interactsin solving problems andworksas a team with other departments.
• Demonstrates a professional and caring manner.
• Strives to ensure continual compliance with the department andMRH policies andprocedures as well as State and Federal regulations.
• Identifiesand accesses necessary systems to report abuse of employees and/or patients.
