Intown-Suites in Aurora, CO is seeking a Housekeeper responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces to meet cleanliness standards and guest expectations.

Pay is $16.50 per hour, with Sundays off and flexible schedules. The position includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance for full-time employees, a 401k with company match,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean required rooms per shift and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to SOPs.
• Remove trash from guest rooms and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas; maintain appliances and surfaces.
• Vacuum and wash floors; dust and polish furnishings.
• Keep supplies stocked and restock carts at shift end.
• Operate housekeeping equipment per SOPs; report safety issues.
• Provide good guest service and address guest concerns.

This role performs routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces while ensuring company cleanliness standards and guest service expectations are met. The Housekeeper plays an important role in guest satisfaction by ensuring accommodations are properly maintained and ready for occupancy.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Clean guest rooms according to company standard operating proceduresRemove trash and miscellaneous debris from guest rooms and surrounding areasEnsure all areas of hotel are up to company standards even if not assigned cleaning areaClean bath area including tub, toilet, sinks, walls, lights, removing and replacing bath linensClean kitchen and dining area including refrigerator, microwave, sink, counters, cabinets, and tablesClean floors by vacuuming and washing floors according to standard operating proceduresMaintain all furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture and appliancesMaintain outside of room appearance by cleaning siding, A/C grill, doors, and windowsNotify Head Guest Room Attendant of room readinessKeep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart at the end of shiftOperate housekeeping equipment by following standard operating proceduresNotify supervisor immediately of any safety and/or security violations of policyNotify supervisor immediately of any guest concernsMaintain superior customer service when interacting with guestsEssential Qualifications:Possess good knowledge of housekeeping/laundry standard operating procedures and techniquesAbility to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlinesAbility to clean the minimum required rooms per shiftAbility to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead when performing cleaning tasks and the ability to stoop, bend and squatAbility to step in and perform a variety of housekeeping/laundry positions in response to business needsAbility to visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas, etc. for quality in cleanliness and presentationAbility to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations and with time constraintsWork Environment and Physical Requirements:Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfacesStanding for eight (8) hour shiftsExposure to extreme weather conditions, cold and heatPerks & BenefitsEasy to follow training programs & supportive team throughout the onboarding processHealth, dental, vision, life and disability insurance for full-time employees401k with company matchPTO for full-time employeesSundays off and no late shifts!Flexible schedulesWeekly payrollElectronic Acknowledgement:When selecting the “Accept” or “Acknowledge” box, I am agreeing that I have read, understand and agree to this policy.
