Job Purpose:- The primary purpose of the Housekeeper position is to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. Housekeepers are responsible for delivering high-quality service standards and contributing to the overall guest experience by upholding the hotel's reputation for cleanliness and hospitality.Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards and procedures.- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms.- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any findings to the maintenance department.- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored correctly.- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing friendly and efficient service.- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.- Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to housekeeping duties.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent preferredRequired Experience:- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred- Experience working in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageousRequired Skills and Abilities:- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment usage- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards in housekeeping
