Job summary

Auburn Village is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Auburn, Indiana facility. This full-time, non-exempt role offers shifts 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with every-other weekend work.

Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with a straightforward hiring process and opportunities to impact seniors’ well-being. Responsibilities include cleaning resident and staff areas, replenishing supplies, and monitoring equipment and laundry areas.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare.
• Must pass background check, may include fingerprinting.
• High school graduate required.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Punctual, friendly, and compassionate with seniors.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident, staff and visitor areas of the facility (sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing).
• Replenish soap and towel supplies in appropriate receptacles.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and laundry area appearance.

Auburn Village has an immediate openings for a Housekeeper at our Auburn Village facility in Auburn, Indiana. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt), during week and every other weekend with an 8-hour shift. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: FULL OR PART-TIME 7a-3:30p

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Clean resident, staff and visitor areas of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing as directed
• Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
• Monitor the care and use of supplies, cleaning equipment and the appearance of laundry areas

Requirements

Requirements of the Housekeeper:

• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare environment is a plus
• Must pass a complete background check that may include fingerprinting
• High school graduate
• Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Personable and professional demeanor
• Must be punctual and friendly
