American Campus Communities seeks a reliable Housekeeper for Willowtree Apartments & Tower in Ann Arbor, MI. You will clean common areas, residences, and turnover spaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and resident satisfaction.

Role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to learn about property maintenance while supporting a student housing community. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• The ability to understand and carry out written or verbal multi-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean the property to standard, including vacuuming, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Vacuuming, mopping and/or shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and stocking bathrooms, including tub, shower, and toilet areas.
• Assist in property turnover process.
• Assist in maintaining clean and orderly shops, storage areas, and back-of house environments, ensuring supplies are organized.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Housekeeper - Willowtree Apartments & Tower

Department: Property Maintenance

Reporting To: Senior Service Manager

Compensation: $18.00 / hour

Description

As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining an ACC student housing community. In this role, you will clean and maintain the property, including amenities, to enhance the living experience for our residents. At ACC, there are always opportunities to grow in your career – whether it is by supporting nearby properties or on the job training.

• Clean the property to standard, including vacuuming, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Vacuuming, mopping and/or shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and stocking bathrooms, including tub, shower, and toilet areas.
• Assist in property turnover process.
• Assist in maintaining clean and orderly shops, storage areas, and back-of house environments, ensuring all supplies are organized.
• Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Candidates should be able to follow established procedures, maintain organized work areas, and support property and apartment standards. Prior experience is helpful but not required, as candidates will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the role.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Housekeeper role is a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience in or willingness to learn housekeeping and property and apartment upkeep. This role includes maintaining cleanliness across common areas, common resident spaces, and turnover preparation.
