Job summary

Compass Group USA at Ascension Health hospitals in Indianapolis is seeking a Housekeeper Utility for both full-time and part-time shifts. The role maintains facility areas, keeps equipment clean and orderly, rotates weekends/holidays, and supports patient services.

Training provided; online applications accepted at the site. Requirements include prior housekeeping experience, the ability to walk/stand for extended periods, and the need to lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.

• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY positions.
• Address: St Vincent Hospital - 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.
