TouchPoint is hiring a Full Time Housekeeper Utility at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, TX. The role supports patient-care environments with attention to cleanliness. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work evenings with rotating weekends.

Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour and may go up to $17.50 per hour, with full-time benefits available. Applicants should have prior housekeeping experience and the ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.

• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials per safety protocols.
• Repairs and maintains cleaning equipment as needed.
• Identifies safety hazards and acts to mitigate them.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Full-time schedule; open availability preferred. 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday-Friday with Required Rotating Weekends Including Saturday and Sunday; more details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains facility areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Great communication skills.
