Job summary

Pursuit is hiring a Housekeeper for the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. You will clean, sanitize and restock guest rooms to ensure a restful stay after guests’ adventures. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and attending to guest requests in a fast-paced lodge setting.

No prior housekeeping experience required, but reliability, a strong work ethic and good communication are essential for success in this remote, social environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping / housekeeper experience an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and capable of manual duties (bend, stoop, squat and stretch).
• Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment.

Responsibilities

• General tidying, dusting, and vacuuming of guest rooms.
• Replacing linens and making beds.
• Cleaning/disinfecting washrooms and shared spaces.
• Attending to housekeeping requests from guests.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins.
