Themac is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper for the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland. The position requires maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility including restrooms, general areas, and supplies. Candidates should possess basic janitorial skills and be dependable.

Housekeeper (Swing/PM Shift)

Location: Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street, Portland, Oregon

Job Type: Full‑time, onsite

Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm Monday–Saturday and 2:30pm – 11:00pm on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Supply Management: Check and restock soaps, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.
• General Cleaning: Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.
• Laundry Handling: Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.
• Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.
• Detail Cleaning: Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.
• Chemical Handling: Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Experience: Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders; stand and walk throughout the shift; work safely with chemicals.
