Job summary

American Campus Communities in Auburn, AL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain our student housing community, including amenities and turnover preparation.

You will follow established cleaning procedures, manage common areas and resident spaces, and support property standards. Training is provided to grow within ACC's maintenance team, with opportunities to learn new skills and advance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal multi-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean the property to standard, including vacuuming, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Vacuuming, mopping and/or shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Cleaning and stocking bathrooms, including tub, shower, and toilet areas.
• Assist in property turnover process.
• Assist in maintaining clean and orderly shops, storage areas, and back-of house environments.
• Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
