Job summary

Canyon Ranch is hiring a Room Attendant for its Tucson resort. The role involves daily cleaning of guest rooms to luxury standards, bed making, linen changes, and upkeep of bathrooms and common areas.

You will ensure rooms are pristine, well-stocked, and guest-ready, while maintaining safety and professionalism throughout shifts. The position offers stable hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with competitive pay of $17.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Experience as a Room Attendant preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong sense of pride in your work and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks including bending, lifting, carrying and standing for long periods.
• Ability to respond to guest requests courteously and effectively; good communication with a variety of people.
• Flexible and able to perform a variety of duties as directed; alert and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, shelves, windowsills, and décor.
• Vacuum guest rooms and hallways, empty trash, replenish linens and in-room supplies.

• Inspect rooms to ensure quality standards and report status on completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment following safety standards.
• Clean pet-friendly rooms and address pet-related messes with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Our Room Attendants (Housekeeping) are responsible for the daily cleaning of assigned rooms to the Canyon Ranch high standard of cleanliness.

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, floors, and other surfaces to luxury resort standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and ensure guest rooms are fresh, comfortable, and impeccably presented.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, shelves, windowsills, and décor throughout guest rooms.
• Vacuum guest rooms and hallways, empty trash, and replenish linens, amenities, and in‑room supplies.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning of guest rooms and maintain organized storage areas and armoires.
• Inspect completed rooms to ensure quality standards are met and report room status upon completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while following all resort cleanliness and safety standards.
• Clean pet‑friendly guest rooms and, when needed, remove pet‑related messes with care and professionalism.
• Support the Housekeeping team with additional duties as assigned to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Pay: $17.00 per hour.

Flexible Days Off, Shift is 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

You will need some Room Attendantexperience preferably in a hotel/resort environment. To be successful in this role you will possess a strong sense of pride in your work. You will need to bephysically able to perform housekeeping tasks, which require bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time. You will need to be able to respond to guest request courteously and effectively, and have effective communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people. You will need to be flexible and able to perform a variety of duties as directed. You will also need to be alert, safety conscious, and pay exceptional attention to detail.
