Job summary

Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District in Savannah, GA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help our guests feel at home. You will clean guest rooms, change linens, restock supplies and maintain brand standards with a friendly, service-minded approach.

This role requires basic verbal and written communication, ability to move, lift up to 25 pounds, and weekend/holiday availability. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and a company 401(k). Get paid daily.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wipe all surfaces, dust and vacuum each guest room following brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds and restock guest room supplies.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash and practice green procedures as trained.
• Greet and assist guests during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Clean multiple rooms daily and support maintenance with reported issues.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Wipe all surfaces, dust and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds and restock all guest room supplies.
• Clean bathrooms, remove trash and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel.
• Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
• Clean multiple rooms each day.
• Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

For Employees Based in Washington:

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
• Paid Sick & Safe Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with up to 72 hours of unused time carried over from one anniversary year to the next.

For Employees Based in Colorado:

• 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
• 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based in California:

• 8 paid holidays per year
• Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
• Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
