Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to perform environmental cleaning and disinfecting in assigned areas to maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly facility.

The role primarily covers 3pm–11:30pm with occasional day shifts; hospital experience is preferred and a high school diploma is advantageous. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and ensuring equipment is kept in good condition.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• 2–6 months of experience as an Environment Attendant; hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established cleaning methods.
• Ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of patient rooms, offices and restrooms.
• Must keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Facility is open Monday - Friday. Primary hours will be 3pm - 11:30pm as needed. Occasional day shift coverage may be needed.

Required Skills:

• Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• At least two to six months of experience as an Environment Attendant. Hospital experience preferred.
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
• Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
