Prairie Ridge Health is seeking a PRN Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing patient areas, visitor areas, and workspaces in accordance with healthcare standards.

Evening shifts with additional weekend coverage are typical, and prior housekeeping experience is preferred. The position emphasizes maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant hospital environment for patients and staff, while supporting overall infection control and facility

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to comprehend MSDS sheets.
• Prior housekeeping experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provides a clean and sanitized environment for patients, visitors, medical staff and employees.
• Ensures compliance with JCAHO standards and local, state and federal regulations.
• Cleans and sanitizes rooms and common areas as part of Environmental Services.
• Works primarily in the evening shifts with weekends as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides a clean and sanitized environment for patients, visitors, medical staff and employees. Such provision will be in compliance with JCAHO standards, local, state and federal regulations.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to comprehend MSDS sheets
• Prior housekeeping experience desirable

FTE: PRN, as needed
Shift: Mainly evening shifts, with other shifts & weekends as needed.
