Job summary

In this vital role, you will sanitize patient rooms, disinfect high-touch areas, handle waste management, and ensure a safe, infection-free environment for patients, visitors, and medical staff.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of healthcare housekeeping experience;

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in housekeeping at health care facility

Responsibilities

• Performs major floor cleaning and refinishing.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas.
• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Assists and oversee special functions in hospital.
• Monitors and reports safety hazards.
• Cleans up emergency spills.
• Removes trash and places in outside container.
• Uses appropriate infection control and hazardous waste techniques.
• Performs special projects and other job related work as required or requested.
• Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct
