Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking a PRN cleaner to maintain a welcoming, sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff. This role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and safely handling cleaning solutions while adhering to infection control standards.

As a PRN employee, you may work less than 16 hours per week with ad hoc shifts, requiring reliability and good communication with the team. High school diploma preferred; prior long-term care experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas.

• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.

Maintains the cleanliness of the facility for residents, visitors and employees. Takes pride and ownership in the condition of the facility to ensure that it is a welcoming environment. AsaPRNemployee,whichmeans“adhoc”orasneededbythe facility,youmaynothavearegularscheduleandwillworkonaverage,lessthan16hoursperweek.

state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.
• Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area.
• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.
• Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.

Other Functions

• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Requirements
