Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Environmental Services Professional to clean patient rooms, wards, lounges and related areas daily, following standard procedures. Strong customer service and English communication are required.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, responding to emergencies, and maintaining equipment. High school diploma or GED preferred; prior cleaning/customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment used for daily cleaning.
• Use phone system to operate pagers and integrated software programs.
• Assist with meeting setups as directed by supervisor.
• Collect linens and dispose of waste per guidelines.
• Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork and resource utilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications
