Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will perform cleaning, disinfection, floor care, waste and linen removal, and general housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient and non-patient areas, following infection prevention and safety protocols, reporting hazards, and providing courteous service while working

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and routine tasks.

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, performs cleaning and disinfecting throughout the Hospital to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include floor care, waste and linen removal, and general housekeeping duties.

• Collect and remove trash and soiled linen according to established procedures.
• Maintain assigned areas, equipment, and storage spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, chemical handling, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned duties efficiently and assist with additional areas or tasks based on operational needs.
• Provide courteous and professional service while working collaboratively with patients, visitors, and Hospital staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and performing routine, repetitive tasks.

Pay

$27-$36/hour

All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, physical exam, drug test, and verification of education qualifications and credentials.
