Job summary

Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing in Lynbrook, NY is seeking a Per diem Housekeeper to support our compassionate care team. You will perform the day-to-day housekeeping duties across the facility, following safety standards and instructions from the Director of Housekeeping Services.

Shifts available include 7-3 and 3-11 with rotating weekends and holidays; the position pays $24.65 per hour. Ideal candidates demonstrate time management, reliability, and a respectful approach to residents

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Willing to work a schedule of rotating weekends, holidays and some weekdays.
• Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
