Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living’s Bay Square at Yarmouth is seeking a Part Time Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean community for residents and staff. Duties include laundering towels, bed linens and resident laundry, plus upkeep of resident apartments.

The role offers a pay range of $18–$19.25 per hour and per diem opportunities. Training is provided; holidays and benefits are included, with a mission to deliver compassionate care in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred; training provided.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Bathrooms: toilet, sinks, bathtubs; wipe surfaces and sanitize floors.
• Kitchen: wipe counters and mop floor.
• Vacuum all exposed areas, including edges.
• Empty and rinse wastecaskets as needed.
• Wash inside of windows as needed.
• Maintain clean laundry room and store chemicals per instruction.
• Clean common areas per standards and practices.

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a Part Time Housekeeper to join our team!

$18-$19.25/HR

As a Benchmark housekeeper, your main role will be to maintain a community that is safe and clean for residents, associates, and visitors. You will be responsible for laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and the upkeep of resident apartments.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor including:
• Bathrooms: toilet bowl, sinks, and bathtubs, wipes countertops, and mirrors, and sterilizes floors
• Kitchen: wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floor
• Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.
• Empties and rinses (if necessary) wastebaskets.
• Washes inside of windows as needed.
• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, and cleans other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
