Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a sparkling, hygienic and safe environment for patients and families.

This part-time weekend-night schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) supports our facility’s around-the-clock care and cleanliness. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, offices and restrooms, providing linen services, and using approved cleaning supplies safely.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
• Works independently.
• Experienced.

Responsibilities

• Routinely cleans patient’s rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients.
• May clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility.
• Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention.
• Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.
• Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner
• Able to multi-task with safety practices.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
