Dayton Children's is seeking a Housekeeper for the Environmental Services department at the Main Campus. The role performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged and cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and restrooms.
You will train on cleaning chemicals and demonstrate competency in proper usage, disposal and safety measures to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment. Shift is 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, part‑time 20 hours.

Job Details: The Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged. The Housekeeper also cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms. Job duties may include making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, cleaning furniture, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, laundering hospital linen, daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment and other assorted duties. The Housekeeper receives training about the cleaning chemicals that are used and will demonstrate competency in the proper usage, disposal and safety measures required to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.
