Position Purpose and Summary

The Housekeeper position demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. The role involves cleaning guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Provide a 100% commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.
• Clean guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stock carts and cart rooms as needed or directed.
• Report maintenance issues and guest property concerns to management.
• Assist guests with requests and provide reasonable accommodations when possible.
• Follow all safety and security policies.
• Complete required training via Extended Stay University.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned, including but not limited to, breakrooms, laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Pay ranges vary by state, with the possibility of variation based on experience and location. Examples include:

• New Jersey: $15.00 - $22.32
