Job summary

East West Hospitality is seeking a meticulous Housekeeper to join the Old Greenwood team in Truckee, California. You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization across guest residences, homeowner properties, and association common areas while delivering friendly, professional service.

This part-time role requires flexibility to work Fridays, weekends, holidays, and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Follow room-by-room SOPs and complete departure, arrival, stay-over, mid-week, and daily cleaning services.
• Clean residences to luxury hospitality standards and ensure guest-ready presentation.
• Restock amenities and linens; stage units for arrivals; inspect for maintenance or safety issues and report.
• Document inventory counts and damage reports; maintain housekeeping storage areas and inventories.

About the Role

At Old Greenwood, Housekeepers play a critical role in delivering the exceptional hospitality experience that East West Hospitality is known for. This positionis responsible formaintainingthe highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout guest residences, homeowner properties, andassociationcommonareas.

The Housekeeper ensures every residence is cleaned, inspected, and prepared to luxury hospitality standards while providing friendly, professional service to owners, guests, and fellow team members. Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, reliability, anda commitmentto excellence are essential for success in this role.

Reports To: Director of Operations / Executive Housekeeper
Location: Old Greenwood – Truckee, California
Wage: $21.00 to $22.00 per hours DOE

Employment Status: Part‑Time
Schedule: Must be available to work Fridays. Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Follow room‑by‑room SOP
• Completedeparture, arrival, stay‑over, mid‑week, and daily cleaning services.
• Complete scheduled warm‑ups, trash & tidy services, and two‑night departure cleans.
• Clean residences efficiently while consistently meeting East West Hospitality quality standards.
• Ensure every residence is guest‑ready with exceptional attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation.
• Restock amenities and linens
• Stage Unit for arrivals
• Inspect residences for maintenance concerns, safety issues, missing inventory, or damage, and report findings promptly.
• Document inventory counts andcompletedamage reports asrequired.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies toestablishedstandards.
• Ensure all kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, patios, and entryways aremaintainedto luxury hospitality expectations.

Common Areas

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all Old Greenwood Associationcommon areas.
• Clean andmaintainEast West Hospitality offices, housekeeping facilities, and employee workspaces.
• Keep entrances, hallways, stairwells, and shared amenities clean, organized, and inviting.
• Deliver linens, housewares, guest requests, and supplies to residences promptly.
• Stock, organize, andmaintainhousekeeping storage areas.
• Maintainaccurateinventories of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Organize housekeeping closets and supply rooms daily.
• Notify supervisors of inventory shortages or damaged equipment.

Equipment & Safety

• Properlyoperate, clean, andmaintainhousekeeping equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cartat all times.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
• Properly mix, label, store, and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and company standards.

Guest Service

• Greetguests and homeowners in a friendly, professional manner.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Represent East West Hospitality with professionalism and integrity.
• Respect homeowner property and handle all furnishings and personal belongings with care.
• Immediately label, log, andsubmitall lost and found items according to company procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assistwith deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Participate in seasonal cleaning initiatives.
• Support other housekeeping team members during peak occupancy periods.
• Assistother departments when operational needsrequire.

Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Operate housekeeping equipment including vacuums and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
