Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper in Richmond, VA to keep residents’ homes clean and inviting. You’ll build connections with residents, guests and teammates while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

The role emphasizes personalized service, clocking a morning schedule from 8:00am to 12:30pm, and requires ability to read and understand basic English. Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality or residential settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial or residential setting preferred.
• Part-Time schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences and adjust cleaning accordingly.
• Clean residents’ apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchens/bathrooms, linens, trash, seasonal tasks).
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments after move-outs and prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites.
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas; use approved cleaning products and PPE; launder linens on a timely basis.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm.
• Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial or residential setting preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences. Adjust apartment cleaning to meet individual needs and expectations.
• Clean residents’ apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash, and completing seasonal tasks such as window and patio cleaning and HVAC filter changes.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments after residents move out and care for vacant apartments to ensure they are clean and ready for new residents.
• Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites by vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, washing linens, restocking supplies, and checking HVAC areas.
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized way. Use only approved cleaning products and tools and follow PPE safety guidelines. Wash, dry, and care for housekeeping linens in a timely manner.
